Service description
Our dental service covers routine and restorative treatment for adults and children, with an emphasis on catching problems while they are still small. The economics of dentistry reward prevention more clearly than almost any other area of healthcare: a cavity found at a six-monthly check-up is a filling, while the same cavity found when it starts hurting is often a root canal and a crown.
We see a lot of patients who have not been to a dentist since arriving in the UAE, sometimes for many years, usually because nothing hurt. Whatever the state of things, the first appointment is an assessment and a plan, not a lecture. You will be told what needs doing now, what can wait, what each item costs, and what your insurance covers before any treatment begins.

Process overview
Examination. A full check of teeth, gums and soft tissues, with dental X-rays where needed to see what is happening below the surface.
Treatment plan and costs. You receive a written plan setting out what is recommended, in what order, and what each stage costs. Insurance eligibility is checked and confirmed before treatment starts.
Urgent treatment first. If you are in pain or there is active infection, this is dealt with before anything elective.
Planned treatment. Remaining work is scheduled across as few appointments as is clinically sensible.
Aftercare. You are given specific instructions following each procedure, and told what to do if there is a problem outside opening hours.
Recall. A six-monthly check-up and scaling appointment keeps small problems small.
