What is this service
Lifeguard Pharmacy is the pharmacy arm operating alongside Care and Cure clinics. The reason it sits where it does is straightforward: the gap between being prescribed something and actually taking it is where a lot of treatment quietly fails. Removing a second journey removes a good part of that gap.
Beyond dispensing, our pharmacists are a useful and underused source of advice. They can explain how to take a medication properly, flag interactions with something else you are already on, advise on whether a symptom needs a doctor or just needs time, and help you understand what you have been given. That conversation costs nothing and is often the difference between a course of treatment working and not.
For patients on long-term medication, we can help you stay ahead of refills rather than discovering on a Friday evening that you have run out.

Procedure and process overview
Bring your prescription. Prescriptions issued at our clinics reach the pharmacy directly. Prescriptions from elsewhere are accepted โ bring the original and your Emirates ID.
Insurance check. Your coverage is checked at the counter before dispensing, so you know what you are paying before you pay it.
Dispensing. Your pharmacist prepares the medication and checks it against anything else you are currently taking.
Counselling. You are told how and when to take it, what to expect, what to avoid, and what side effects would warrant a call to your doctor.
Refills. For long-term medication, we can set up a refill schedule so you are reminded before you run out rather than after.
Follow-up. If a medication is not agreeing with you, speak to the pharmacist โ they can advise and, where needed, route you back to the prescribing doctor.
